Description of Invention
COVID-19 has greatly impacted and transformed the educational landscape. Traditional classrooms have given way to virtual spaces where online teaching and learning have become not just an alternative but a vital necessity. In this project, a virtual reality lab, namely “CheSim”, is created for students to conduct experiment based on the Chemistry subject. It allows students to mix elements and compounds and observe chemical reactions in a safe virtual lab. Using Leap Motion, students interact with virtual objects through hand gestures, making the experience more immersive. It helps students gain practical experience and understand laboratory procedures without actual risks. They are then better prepared for actual lab work, with a deeper understanding of safety protocols and experimental accuracy.
