Description of Invention

E-commerce has transformed traditional commerce by shifting transactions online through electronic communications. With the greater convenience and accessibility brought up by the e-commerce, this shift of shopping mode to online method had redefined consumer behaviour and expectations. However, the rapid growth of online shopping has also enabled fraud to proliferate and posing significant threats to consumer. While Malaysia also beneficial from the strong growth of e-commerce sector, the issues of ecommerce fraud and trust have become increasingly important. Hence, this study aims to examines the influence of trust and e-commerce fraud perception on online purchase intention among consumers in Malaysia.
