Description of Invention

The CLEAR Project, funded by TMRND, aims to explore the integration of emerging technologies like Augmented Reality (AR) to redesign educational content and learning environments, thereby enhancing student engagement and creating immersive learning experiences. Aligned with the goal of fostering experiential and authentic learning for 21st-century students, this project focuses on bridging the gap between formal education and more collaborative, real-world learning strategies. To achieve this, a key component of this research was the development of a collaborative AR-based game (Quinn’s Quest), designed in accordance with Herrington, Reeves, and Oliver's (2014) Authentic Learning Principles, to investigate the impact of a collaborative AR game-based learning environment on student learning processes.
