Description of Invention

The study investigates why undergraduate students at Multimedia University's Cyberjaya campus use ChatGPT for educational purposes, highlighting issues like information overload and time constraints. Survey data analyzed using SPSS reveals that academic content creation, information seeking, convenience, and perceived usefulness positively influence the intention to use ChatGPT, while novelty and perceived ease of use have a negative impact. The research integrates the Uses and Gratification Theory and the Technology Acceptance Model, offering insights to improve AI integration in education and contributing original empirical findings to the field of AI adoption in academic settings.
