This project presents the development of an IoT-based smart alarm clock system that combines traditional alarm clock functionality with advanced features and connectivity. The objectives are to create a functional prototype that improves on traditional alarm clocks, enhances user knowledge of IoT devices, increases user productivity, and implements an intuitive user interface. Furthermore, the scope includes designing and developing a system capable of setting alarms remotely through a mobile app, integrating with other smart devices, and providing a personalized wake-up experience. The project utilizes the Arduino platform for programming microcontrollers, the Blynk platform for mobile app integration, and various hardware components. The system demonstrates the capabilities of IoT in upgrading traditional devices, offering remote control, automation, and personalization for an improved user experience. The smart alarm clock offers an intelligent and convenient waking experience. It created a user-friendly, and interconnected alarm clock that enhances the overall user experience. The findings of the survey showed the favorable outcomes of the smart alarm clock. Suggestions for the future improvement of the smart alarm clock are recommended too.
