Description of Invention

With the rise of smart technology that is becoming an integral part of society, securing interconnected devices has become a top priority for cybersecurity experts. Internet of Things (IoT) devices, which range from wristwatches to cars, can communicate without human interaction, offering significant advantages over traditional devices. However, their reliance on Internet connectivity exposes them to potential breaches by malicious actors. Penetration testing is essential for strengthening IoT device security, helping users avoid becoming victims of cyberattacks. This project focuses on identifying weaknesses in IoT devices and demonstrating how penetration testing can highlight the need for robust security measures.
