Description of Invention
This project explores a real-time gesture recognition system using a data glove for wireless control of an RC car. IMU and flex sensors capture hand orientation and finger movement, processed by an Arduino microcontroller and transmitted via nRF24L01 modules. The RC car, equipped with an ESP32-cam for real-time video feedback, interprets gestures to control movement with negligible latency. The prototype achieved a 100% recognition rate and a 914μs second communication latency, ensuring seamless user experience. Potential applications include assistive devices and virtual reality, with future enhancements in obstacle detection and communication range.
