Description of Invention
This study explores the growing issue of individual bankruptcy among Malaysian youth, with a focus on the role of personal loans. Youth under 35 years old represent a significant portion of bankruptcy cases, driven by factors such as uncontrolled spending, peer influence, insufficient wages, and a lack of financial literacy. Through qualitative document analysis of newspaper articles and Malaysian Parliament Hansards, the research identifies key themes impacting youth financial behavior.
