Description of Invention
The rapid urbanization and increasing number of vehicles have intensified the need for efficient parking solutions in cities. This paper presents the design and implementation of a Smart Parking System using the Internet of Things (IoT) to alleviate parking challenges. The proposed system employs IoT-enabled sensors to monitor real-time parking space availability, which is communicated to users via a mobile application. This solution optimizes parking space utilization, reduces the time spent searching for parking, and minimizes traffic congestion. The system is designed to be scalable, with easy integration into existing infrastructure, and can be adapted to various urban environments. Through testing and simulation, the Smart Parking System has demonstrated its potential to enhance the convenience and efficiency of urban parking management, contributing to the development of smarter and more sustainable cities.
