Description of Invention
The disposal of waste cooking oil (WCO) poses significant environmental challenges, leading to pollution and resource wastage. This research explores the conversion of WCO into biofuel as a sustainable alternative to conventional fossil fuels. The study employs a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) approach to evaluate the environmental impact of biofuel production from WCO, encompassing the entire process from collection to end-use in boat engines. The findings reveal that biofuel from WCO significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions, minimizes waste, and offers a circular economy solution. This research underscores the potential of WCO-derived biofuel as a viable green energy source, contributing to Malaysia's sustainability goals.
