Description of Invention

In traditional car showrooms, understanding and meeting the customer needs effectively is challenging. This project revolutionizes the car showroom experience by introducing a deep learning based emotion detection system. This technology recognizes the customer emotions by analyzing the customer’s facial expressions and provides the summary of the customer’s expressions to the sales personnel. In doing so, the system allows the sales personnel to adapt their approach and offer personalized service, addressing individual customer needs well. The project uses a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model to classify the customer’s facial expression. The model was trained with dataset that includes a range of emotions, such as happy, sad, surprise, fear, anger, disgust and neutral.
