Description of Invention

Our research, "Digital and Financial Well-being of Urban Low-Income Families: A Study of Government Assistance Programs During COVID-19," explores the challenges faced by Malaysia's most vulnerable, particularly those in Projek Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) areas. These families struggled as the pandemic halted jobs and disrupted online learning due to poor digital access. We examined the impact of government assistance programs like Prihatin, PERMAI, and PEMULIH on their financial and digital well-being. Surveying 417 respondents, we aimed to understand the relationships between government aid, financial well-being, and digital well-being in over 32,000 urban low-income households.
