Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a technology that can perform tasks usually done by humans, like analyzing data and making decisions. While many industries around the world are already using AI, the legal industry in Malaysia is still in the early stages of adopting this technology. This is mainly due to challenges like data privacy, accountability, and ethical concerns. This study aims to identify the legal issues and challenges that arise when implementing AI in Malaysia's legal sector. The research uses a qualitative approach, analyzing data from various sources and comparing legal frameworks in Malaysia and Singapore. The discussion will focus on how AI impacts the legal industry in Malaysia and what challenges might come up. The study will also offer suggestions and recommendations on how AI can be effectively integrated into the legal industry without falling behind in technological advancements.
