Description of Invention

Agriculture, vital for livelihoods in countries like India, faces challenges such as a declining farmer population and high-tech costs. This project aims to develop an affordable agricultural robot (agribot) that autonomously seeds and waters crops, integrating solar panels to reduce energy consumption. The agribot uses ultrasonic and infrared sensors for navigation and obstacle detection, and motors for seeding and watering. While highly accurate on tile flooring, its performance slightly decreases on soil. The agribot demonstrated successful seed growth and water dispensing. Future improvements will focus on enhancing navigation with advanced sensors like LiDAR and cameras.
