Description of Invention
Malaysia generated approximately 550K metric tons of e-waste in 2020, and this figure is projected to rise by 10% annually. However, the current e-waste management practices in the country are ineffective, with only 20% of e-waste being recycled. SeizeE is developed to solve this problem. Based on our survey 80% of them didn't dispose it in the correct way and some feel burden to go all the way to dispose it at the centre or dedicated bin. As a 1-stop platform for collecting e-waste, SeizE will also strive to promote responsible e-waste management, increase recycling rates, and foster a sustainable circular economy in Malaysia.
