Description of Invention

Prior research has explored poverty within the Muslim community and considered religion as a potential factor. This issue is gaining attention due to the prevalence of poverty in many Muslim-majority countries. Malaysia, including developed states like Selangor, has seen a rise in those in need, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. To address this, Malaysia can set an example by promoting social entrepreneurship among its Muslim youth. Graduates possess the knowledge and skills to develop impactful solutions. This study aims to assess awareness of social entrepreneurship's potential for community development and the factors influencing readiness for it among Muslim youth. The goal is to create a framework to inform policy interventions and programs supporting social entrepreneurship among Malaysia's Muslim youth.
