The integration of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) practices in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are important to the environmental sustainability and social well-being towards Madani economy growth in Malaysia. This research addresses the growing relevance of GHRM, particularly in Malaysian SMEs. It explores the impact of electronic HRM, green employee empowerment, and HR business partner roles on overall GHRM practices, employing the Resource Based View (RBV) Theory. 120 questionnaires collected from SMEs for statistical analysis. Results reveal that solely green employee empowerment has a significant relationship, distinguishing itself from the other two variables. Despite limited research on GHRM in SMEs, this study underscores the pivotal role of employees, particularly their empowerment, in driving GHRM's effectiveness within SMEs in Malaysia.
