Description of Invention

Bagasse or sugar cane husk is often thrown away. It is a fibrous residue left after the sugarcane is crushed for extraction of its juice. It contains about 48% moisture, 68% fiber, and 2-4% sugar. The cellulose content of bagasse makes it viable as a fibrous raw material in the paper industry. Sweet Book aims to transform bagasse into books and channel it to underprivileged indigenous children for educational purposes. The entire product of SweetBook is a “green product”. All of it can become natural fertiliser, which will create a cycle of the green ecosystem.
