Ecluck is a business idea that aims to create an aordable, sustainable and nutritious alternative feed for chickens using food scraps. While solving food waste and chicken shortage issues, the idea is in line with Sustainable Development Goal 2 (Zero Hunger) and Goal 13 (Climate Action). ecluck converts food scraps, which are gathered from the daily operations of halal restaurants and cafes into chicken feed pellets, using Japan-certied food scraps to feed processing technology. With this innovation, ecluck can be a great substitute for the existing chicken feed, while ensuring a sustainable supply of quality chicken feed to chicken farmers in Malaysia so they no longer rely on the exports of chicken feed ingredients.
