Description of Invention

Thermal comfort, influenced by factors such as environmental conditions and personal factors, can be significantly enhanced with the integration of Embedded systems and IoT technology [1]. An embedded system has been thoughtfully designed for thermal comfort data collection within the Digital Home Lab at MMU. It successfully gathered data like temperature, humidity, and wind speed through strategically placed sensors, seamlessly transmitting this information to the cloud via a private MQTT server in real-time. This IoT-based solution not only streamlines the data collection process but also contributes to a more comfortable and enjoyable thermal environment without the need for active intervention.
