Description of Invention
The project focuses on creating an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) suitable for small-scale stores like pharmacies and electronic component shops. It comprises two main components: a guiding system for horizontal and vertical movement and a pick-and-place module for handling loads. The system is controlled by two microcontrollers, Arduino Uno as the master for guiding system motion and Arduino Nano as the slave for the pick-and-place module. Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) control ensures precise and accurate movements. However, the ASRS has limited load capacity, handling only up to 800g due to potential structural fragility issues with heavier loads, offering high precision and speed for small-scale storage needs.
