Description of Invention
Human papillomavirus (HPV) is one of the most common sexually transmitted infections known to cause cervical cancer and other anogenital cancers. There are preventive strategies such as screening tests and vaccination introduced but a low uptake rate still visible among Malaysians. Various barriers found have led this study to tailor an eHealth intervention called Cervica. It is a knowledge hub that educates women about HPV, cervical cancer and existing preventive measures to empower women and youths to make more informed decision.
