This plan has sparked a transformation in the education landscape. Efforts by the government have been implemented in education such introduce Malaysian Smart School, colloquially referred to as "Sekolah Bestari,, where educators need to have innovative work behaviour which are very helpful in diversifying teaching and learning methods. However, this will not work if the educator is not prepared to make changes in this fast-paced development and educators are encouraged to be innovative in their teaching to stay competitive.
