Description of Invention
The healthcare industry underwent rapid technological advancements, with the end user facing pressure and challenges to adapt to these changes. One way that the healthcare industry addressed this was by implementing ERP systems, which were believed to have the potential to improve competitiveness. However, despite the growing interest in ERP in the healthcare industry, there was a lack of research that specifically looked at the challenges and refinements of ERP systems from how users perceive ERP systems in this sector in Malaysia. This study aimed to address the existing gap in the literature by employing a qualitative research approach to gain a comprehensive understanding of the topic at hand.
