Description of Invention
Recent research has shown that effective monitoring of battery voltage is crucial for maintaining optimal vehicle performance and avoiding unexpected breakdowns. However, existing battery monitoring systems often lack the capability to provide real-time warnings and status updates to users. This study addresses this problem by developing a prototype system that integrates a battery voltage sensor with an Arduino Uno microcontroller and connects to the cloud-based database platform ThingSpeak. The prototype allows for continuous monitoring of battery voltage and provides two modes, normal and warning, based on predefined voltage thresholds. In the warning mode, when the battery voltage drops below the lower threshold, a red indicator light is triggered, and a push notification is sent to the user's mobile phone. The system also enables the display of battery voltage graphs retrieved from ThingSpeak, providing users with visual insights into battery performance.
