Description of Invention

According to the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research, road rage affects 18% of registered drivers. Drivers may lose patience if they are stuck in heavy traffic for an extended amount of time. Impatience contributes to increased stress, which can influence drivers' moods or emotions such as rage, aggression, and anxiety. With such emotions, drivers may not be able to make sensible decisions on the road. Researchers have a hopeful future in building a comprehensive and sustainable tool to identify road rage since advances in computer vision and embedded device technology. Thus, this study designed a system to detect driver's anger expression.
