Description of Invention
In Malaysia, ~8% of the elderly live alone. Living alone exposes elderlies to many risks. During the MCO in 2020, several reported deaths among elderlies who lived alone and whose bodies were found several days later by concerned neighbours. Hence, ambient-assisted living (AAL) can provide an improved quality of health care and well-being. IoT plays a great role in developing technologies for AAL. An AAL mobile application, Eternal Care, is proposed for anomaly detection in elderly daily behaviour. Eternal Care is embedded with the proposed lightweight deep learning human activity recognition to automatically detect anomalies in the elderly's daily behaviour.
