According New Strait Time (2017), the average time spent for parking areas is about 25 minutes. Many solutions are tried to work toward a more streamlined parking experience to driver and other road users. Innovative smart parking technology combined with IoT connectivity helps to solve this problem. Intrusive sensors: installed in holes of road surface, by tunnelling under the road which leads to invasive procedure of installation. Non-intrusive sensors: can be easily installed and maintained and does not affect the road surface in the process.
