Malaysia generates over 39,000 tonnes of municipal solid waste daily, with 80–90% ending up in landfills, causing environmental and health concerns. Despite the growing waste volume, only 35.38% was recycled in 2023, missing the national target and resulting in RM291 million worth of recyclable material loss. Eco-Press introduces a sustainable solution using hydraulic press technology to compact and process waste efficiently. By reducing landfill dependency and encouraging ethical recycling practices, Eco-Press supports sustainable manufacturing and waste management. This innovation also aims to raise public awareness and drive behavioral change, contributing to a cleaner, greener, and more responsible Malaysia.
