Growing consumer demand for environmentally friendly packaging has spurred innovation beyond conventional plastic substitutes, contributing to the world's severe plastic pollution problem. This project presents the potato starch takeaway box, a sustainable food container composed of potato starch, a biodegradable and renewable substance obtained from agricultural waste. GreenTato box, which was created as a direct substitute for plastic containers has greater durability and thermal stability while breaking down organically in composting conditions in 90 days. It offers a safe, non-toxic, and ecologically friendly alternative. GreenTato is a step toward a greener, circular future in food packaging, not simply a container.
