Description of Invention
Increasing solid waste disposal is an ongoing, staggering issue that needs to be addressed now as it harms the environment and impacts human health. According to the SWCorp, Malaysians throw away around 39,078 tonnes of solid waste everyday. On an average, each person is contributing about 1.17kg of waste which includes food, plastic, paper etc. (The Star, 2024). Population growth and Malaysian’s lack of awareness on sustainable consumption and recycling has contributed to the increasing generation of solid waste. Thus, EcoRecycle emerged as an innovative solution to build a more sustainable future for our planet through recycling.
