Description of Invention

A stackable pallet-shaped triboelectric nanogenerator (SP-TENG) is developed for harvesting low-frequency mechanical energy from natural sources like ocean waves. The device consists of 11 parallel-connected layers with fixed aluminum electrodes and sliding solid PTFE plates, operating in a freestanding triboelectric-layer mode. This structure enhances surface charge density and improves energy output. All experiments were conducted using manual sliding motion at approximately 1 Hz with a fixed tilt angle of 50°. SP-TENG-B achieved a maximum open-circuit voltage of 4 V, and charged various sizes of capacitors. Also, SP-TENG can power up electronic devices such as LCD digital timer and up to 93 LEDs.
