Description of Invention
Public transport is widely used in Kuala Lumpur, but first- and last-mile connectivity remains a challenge. Micro-mobility devices like e-scooters offer a solution by bridging these gaps, yet issues such as bulky designs, poor infrastructure, and safety concerns hinder adoption. This paper proposes a portable, lightweight, and foldable e-scooter prototype designed for seamless integration with public transit. Features include modular components for customization, enhanced safety with sensors and lighting, and an innovative dashboard for navigation and route safety. By addressing real-world commuting issues, the design supports efficient, sustainable urban mobility through improved micro-mobility and multimodal transport integration.
