Description of Invention
Digital Transformation Readiness (DTR) is a critical factor in the successful adoption of digital technologies especially in health sectors. However, existing DTR frameworks are unstructured and only focusing on isolated dimensions such as technology, organisation, or processes which leads to inconsistencies in assessment. This study addresses the need for a unified framework by consolidating six DTR frameworks into a comprehensive and structured approach. The proposed framework integrates key readiness dimensions like People, Process, Technology, Organization, and Environment that ensures a holistic evaluation of an institution’s preparedness for Digital Transformation (DT). The resulting framework enhances the accuracy and applicability of DTR assessments as it provides both researchers and policymakers with a standardised tool for evaluating DT initiatives in health sectors.
