Description of Invention

Graduates in Malaysia face a 10.5% youth unemployment rate, driven largely by a mismatch between academic training and industry needs. Challenges such as limited industry-relevant skills, low innovation culture, and weak industry-academia collaboration hinder students’ readiness for the workforce. This presentation proposes a Competition-Based Experiential Learning Framework as a solution to bridge these gaps. By integrating real-world challenges, mentorship, and startup exposure into the learning process, this framework aims to equip students with practical skills, foster innovation, and strengthen industry partnerships. It provides a dynamic platform to prepare future-ready graduates and align higher education with evolving market demands.
