Description of Invention

Recently, the global autonomous vehicles (AVs) market has been developing rapidly. In Malaysia, the AV industry is still in its early stages, but local automotive companies have started to collaborate with international tech firms to develop AV technologies. ​Yaw prediction, which is one of the important features to forecast car future movement direction, is implemented in AV for ensuring its safety and stability. In this context, an efficient deep learning approach using Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) is proposed for performing yaw angle prediction.​
