Description of Invention
The rise of home workouts has increased posture-related injuries due to the lack of supervision. This work presents a cost-effective AI system using a standard webcam to provide real-time feedback for squats and lunges. It combines OpenCV and MediaPipe Pose to analyze 33 body landmarks, assessing joint angles and posture. A color-coded system guides form correction. Unlike costly motion capture setups, this approach is accessible and efficient. With 93.5% accuracy and 32 FPS speed, it ensures smooth monitoring. User trials showed a 24% posture improvement. The system supports safer, AI-driven workouts for fitness and rehab, enhancing form and injury prevention.
