Description of Invention
This study introduces a blink-based face detection method as an anti-spoofing mechanism. Utilizing natural blinking as the liveness indicator, it discriminates between genuine users and spoofs (images, videos, masks). Real-time detection under a light Python, OpenCV, and ML-based algorithms is guaranteed. Resilient to various datasets under varying conditions, it is accurate with low false positives. Secure access control, authentication, and banking are a few use cases. Results verify its effectiveness as a software-only solution without any costly hardware addition. The solution provides security through real-time flexibility under hostile environments.
